The Chateau

The priority is a dispositional and functional consolidation of the chateau and its organizational units and the creation of two permanent expositions for visitors or NCGC participants. The first of the permanent expositions – the entrance exposition – will be established on the ground floor of the chateau and it will provide all information about the chateau premises, both gardens and the NCGC project. The other exposition will map the rich history of the Flower and Chateau Gardens and complement the second floor of the chateau, which will above all provide presentations (gallery, libraries, expositions, short-term exhibitions) and scientific administration (exploring centre, library, depositories) to unique chateau collections. The last topic of the NCGC will be an occasional accessibility of the Chateau Garden via the Collerodo´s colonnade and the so called Giardino segreto, the archbishop´s private entry.
